National Cadet Corps (NCC) Petty Officer cadet Lisha D. Suvarna from St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, was conferred with the Defence Minister Commendation Award, the highest accolade bestowed upon NCC cadets successful the country, successful designation of her outstanding dedication, enactment and service.

Ms. Suvarna is the girl of Dejappa Bangera and Mallika from Kulur. She is pursuing Bachelor of Engineering successful the section of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and had besides participated successful the Republic Day Camp successful the erstwhile year.
