Sri Lanka seeks investors for loss-making Mattala airport in Hambantota

Sri Lanka has called for Expressions of Interest to tally its loss-making planetary airdrome successful Mattala, successful the confederate Hambantota district, with a Cabinet-appointed committee tasked with negotiating the woody with prospective home and overseas investors.  

The Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation, connected behalf of Airport and Aviation Services, “invites proposals from prospective investors i.e. Companies, Corporations, Firms, and Joint Ventures” for investments to “utilise resources” of the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), according to an authoritative statement. The EOI, which includes airside, aerodrome and landside operations, is unfastened to some home and planetary entities, the connection said.
