Sri City-based VRV Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Chart Industries, achieved a landmark planetary milestone by exporting a monolithic liquid nitrogen retention vessel to Air Liquide successful Egypt.
The 531-kilolitre vessel, weighing 168 tonnes and stretching 39 metres, was made nether the ‘Make successful India’ initiative. Its proscription represented the pinnacle of cryogenic engineering and required analyzable multi-axle logistics to scope Chennai port.
Sri City managing manager Ravindra Sannareddy called the export a ‘crowning success’ that further cemented VRV’s estimation for world-class cryogenic engineering.
As Sri City’s founding tenant, VRV has successfully transitioned from a section shaper to a captious planetary supplier for high-stakes sectors similar aerospace and healthcare.
The institution has a past of perpetually supporting Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and besides providing life-saving oxygen infrastructure during the Covid-19 pandemic.
