A South ‍Korean tribunal connected ​Friday (January 16, 2026) sentenced former president Yoon ‌Suk Yeol ​to 5 years successful situation for charges including obstructing attempts to apprehension him pursuing his failed bid ​to enforce martial law.

The ⁠Seoul Central District Court said it recovered Yoon blameworthy ​of ⁠obstructing authorities from executing an apprehension warrant related to his martial ‌law declaration successful ‌December 2024, unrecorded broadcast of the ‍ruling showed.
