The cybercrime constabulary successful Coimbatore connected Thursday arrested a societal media influencer from Tiruchi connected the complaint of defaming and intimidating a Coimbatore-based pistillate connected Instagram.
The arrested has been identified arsenic B. Karthik, 28, of Srinivasa Nagar astatine Tennur successful Tiruchi district.
According to the cybercrime police, a 20-year-old pistillate from Kaundampalayam lodged a ailment against Karthik, accusing him of having posted a video connected his Instagram page, successful which helium defamed her and threatened her of chopping her into pieces.
The constabulary registered a lawsuit and arrested the accused connected Thursday. The constabulary said the accused has a ample fig of followers connected societal media.
