Musician Karthik Krishna Jayaram from Thiruvananthapuram is conscionable backmost from Raipur, aft winning a nationalist level singing competition. The triumph feels other peculiar to Karthik, arsenic the contention was dedicated to India’s evergreen voice, Lata Mangeshkar. “She is my biggest inspiration. The ‘feel’ she lends to each opus is magical,” helium says. 

Organised by the Swarnim Dharohar Lata Foundation (SDLF), based successful Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the contention included 457 auditions for participants from implicit 20 States. Karthik was among the 40 singers who were selected to the semi finals and helium was besides the lone 1 from South India. The SDLF, which has been moving towards preserving the bequest of Lata Mangeshkar and expanding the scope of her philharmonic genius to the contiguous and aboriginal generations, since its inception successful 2021. Founded by Manoj Sharma successful 2021, the organisation is keen to place and nurture young talents from crossed the country. The contention is simply a measurement successful that direction, says Karthik.
