The State Government has initiated a broad program for the improvement of 9 caller ember mines for Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) with the nonsubjective of ensuring semipermanent operational sustainability and vigor security.

The VK Coal Mine has already received astir of the required statutory approvals and the overburden removal enactment has already commenced there. The task is expected to statesman ember accumulation soon.
