A Forest Department squad visited the country and confirmed the sighting. Three cages and 5 camera traps were installed, and drone surveillance was intensified. A squad of 15 unit members and 10 villagers combed the hillock, but the animals could not beryllium located. Despite continuous monitoring, the leopards remained untraceable.
