The Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Authority (PPV&FRA), honoured Ananthamurthy Javali, a husbandman from Ripponpet successful Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district, with a nationalist grant for the twelvemonth 2022-23 for the conservation and propagation of works species, successful New Delhi connected Wednesday, November 12.

Union Minister for Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented the Plant Genome Saviour Farmer Recognition grant to Mr. Javali and Nagarajappa Adiveppar, prof of Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences. Dr. Nagarajappa served arsenic a facilitator for the compilation and submission of the exertion for the award. The grant carries a citation and a currency prize of ₹1 lakh.
