The Anantapur III Town constabulary connected Tuesday (November 25, 2025) arrested 7 persons and recovered implicit 4 kgs ganja.
The accused were identified arsenic Haji Rahmat, A. Manoj Kumar, Shaik Aslam Basha alias Babloo, B. Ravi Kumar, E. Solomon, J. Praveen Kumar and S. Dinesh Goud, each belonging to assorted parts of Anantapur district. The constabulary said that the accused formed a pack to gain casual wealth and had precocious purchased 10 kgs ganja for ₹5,000 per kg from an chartless idiosyncratic astatine Tuni railway station.
The pack sold 4 kgs ganja astatine ₹18,000 per kilo successful Bagepalli of Karnataka and made tiny packets of 100 grams each and sold it for ₹2,000 a packet. While the accused were readying to merchantability the remaining ganja, the constabulary arrested them.
