Senior oncologist honoured with health care excellence award

The Dr. K.V. Thiruvengadam Health Care Excellence Award - 2026 was presented to S. G. Ramanan, elder aesculapian oncologist, Apollo Cancer Hospital and managing trustee, Cancare Foundation, successful designation of his outstanding contributions to crab care, according to a property release.

The Rotary Club of Madras East and Kauvery Hospital jointly organised a relation successful which Dr. Ramanan was honoured for his patient-centric approach, his dedication to advancing oncology services, and his accordant efforts to harvester evidence-based medicine with compassion and empathy, the property merchandise said.

The grant was presented by K. Narayanasamy, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, who was the main guest, portion Vinod Saraogi, territory governor, Rotary International District 3234 was the impermanent of honour.
