As portion of the ‘Janjatiya Garima Utsav’ celebrations, the Kerala Institute for Research, Training and Development Studies of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (KIRTADS) connected Friday (May 15, 2026) organised a one-day seminar connected ‘Tech-driven sustainable Scheduled Tribe improvement successful the epoch of AI’. The sessions focussed connected the relation of artificial quality (AI) and emerging technologies successful strengthening tribal improvement initiatives and improving livelihoods.

KIRTADS Director S. Bindu, who inaugurated the seminar, stressed the request to integrate AI and different modern technologies into improvement readying to beforehand sustainable advancement and amended the prime of beingness of tribal communities. P. Sasikumar, Assistant Director (Sub Plan Cell), Directorate of ST Development, presided implicit the session.

A bid of method sessions was held nether the enactment of a five-member panel. The discussions covered AI-driven mitigation of human-wildlife conflict, socio-economic readying for tribal welfare, inclusive integer technologies for empowerment, cyber security, and preservation of tribal languages done AI.

The programme coordinators said 73 participants, including officials from the ST Development section and representatives of tribespeople, attended the sessions. K.S. Pradeepkumar, Deputy Director (Training), KIRTADS, welcomed the assets persons and participants.
