Sealed private bar reopened without permission; officials initiate action

Officials said that arsenic arrangements were made to unfastened a backstage barroom astatine Burma Colony successful Karaikudi, adjacent residents opposed the bar, alleging that it violated rules by operating adjacent to spiritual places and residential areas.

Following the protestation connected November 17, gross officials led by Devakottai Sub-Collector Ayush Venkat Vats sealed the backstage bar.

However, connected Wednesday, the seal was breached open, and liquor income commenced.

Upon receiving the information, Karaikudi tahsildar Raja arrived and questioned the store employees for opening the outlet without obtaining permission.

As this led to an argument, Mr. Raja warned the employees of repercussions and subsequently resealed the bar.
