Schoolgirls attempt to leave for Chennai to meet social media influencer, rescued

Four schoolgirls aged 12 from Coimbatore, who went missing connected Tuesday allegedly aft being invited by a societal media influencer from Chennai, were rescued by the constabulary from city’s railway station.

The constabulary said that the girls, who are friends and residents of the Kurichi Pirivu and Podanur areas, were reported missing connected Tuesday evening.
