Members of the Savita Samaj staged a protestation successful Kalaburagi connected October 30 condemning alleged derogatory remarks by BJP MLC C.T. Ravi against the Savita assemblage successful Karnataka.

Protesters led by Savita Samaj territory president Anand Warik accused Mr. Ravi of utilizing a prohibited and violative word portion referring to their community, and demanded that helium publically apologise for his remarks. They said the connection utilized by the BJP person had profoundly wounded the sentiments of the community, which has been contributing to societal and economical improvement of nine successful Karnataka.

The protestors urged the authorities of Karnataka to instrumentality strict enactment against those who insult immoderate community, and called for the transition of a solution during the upcoming wintertime league of the Karnataka legislature to guarantee stringent punishment for specified offences.

Demonstrators carried placards and raised slogans against Mr. Ravi during the protest. Some protestors besides displayed posters showing a scissor cutting disconnected Mr. Ravi’s tongue, symbolising their outrage against his alleged remarks.
