Senior writer Sangeeta Barooah Pisharoty was connected Sunday (December 14, 2025) elected arsenic the archetypal pistillate president of the Press Club of India.

Ms. Pisharoty's squad swept each office-bearers and managing committee positions, scoring an emphatic 21-0, successful the elections held connected Saturday (December 13). The counting of votes took spot connected Sunday.
