The ‘Samathuva Pongal Festival–2026’ aimed astatine bringing radical unneurotic and showcasing the taste and accepted value of the harvest festival, particularly to the younger generation, was held astatine the Collectorate present connected Tuesday (January 13, 2026).
Collector S. Kandasamy inaugurated the festival and flagged disconnected accepted games for authorities officials, including rangoli, tug-of-war, uri adithal and fortunate country competitions. School students presented accepted martial arts and people performances specified arsenic silambam, por silambam, alangara silambam, vaal veechu and magudu veechu.
