Congress leaders Samarth Shamanur and Umesh Meti connected Thursday took oath arsenic members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.
Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader administered the oath successful the beingness of enactment leaders and household members of some MLAs. Mr Samarth won the byelection from the Davanagere South Constituency, portion Mr. Meti was elected from Bagalkot pursuing the demise of his father, H.Y. Meti, who had represented the constituency.
The byelections to some constituencies were held connected April 9, and the results were declared connected May 4.
