Sabarimala gold case: SIT speeds up inquiry in Dwarapalaka sculptures ‘refurbishment’

The Kerala High Court-appointed peculiar probe squad (SIT) probing the Sabarimala golden theft lawsuit has reportedly expedited its preliminary enquiry into whether the arguable removal and transport of gold-plated copper overlays embellishing the Dwarapalaka sculptures for “refurbishment” to a metallic works institution successful Chennai successful 2025 revealed a cognisable offence, including conspiracy, authoritative corruption and pilferage. 

Officials said the SIT has reportedly interviewed respective officials, including erstwhile Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) president P.S. Prasanth, arsenic portion of its inquiry.
