RPF constable locates woman passenger’s missing bag with 25 sovereigns

V. Rineesh, 36, a constable attached to the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Coimbatore, located a passenger’s missing container that contained 25 sovereigns of golden ornaments.

The woman, G. Susha, noticed her bluish container containing ornaments missing erstwhile she was travelling from Feroke to Palakkad connected Kannur – Coimbatore Express (16607) connected September 30. Mr. Rineesh, who was travelling to Coimbatore recovered the pistillate successful tears and searched the coach. He recovered a bluish bag, which did not person an owner. Upon checking the contents wrong the bag, the constable recovered that it belonged to a Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kerala police, who had mistakenly taken the woman’s container owed to resemblance with his bag.

The SI was asked to sojourn the RPF presumption astatine Shoranur, wherever the woman’s container containing ornaments was returned to her aft verification.
