Chairperson of V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Thoothukudi, Susanta Kumar Purohit connected Wednesday highlighted the show and achievements of the port, large completed projects, ongoing projects, and upcoming projects and the greenish initiatives taken up astatine the port.

Highlighting the greenish initiatives undertaken astatine the port, helium said the Green Hydrogen Pilot Project Plant was commissioned to powerfulness streetlights and E-car charging facilities. A rooftop star powerfulness works was besides installed. The upcoming greenish initiatives included 6 MW upwind farm, Green methanol Bunkering and Refueling installation and Green Methanol Production, helium said.
