Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy appealed to All India Majlis‑e‑Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) main Asaduddin Owaisi to enactment the government’s initiatives to make the Old City, peculiarly the Musi rejuvenation works and the projected Metro Rail expansion.

He said the authorities has capable funds for the Metro Rail task and assured that the Old City would person each indispensable infrastructure facilities, including Metro connectivity. He stated that onshore acquisition required for roadworthy enlargement and the Metro Rail web successful the country has already been completed.

The Chief Minister made the announcement aft inaugurating the renovated Bum-Rukn-Ud-Dowla lake. He further said that the erstwhile Nizam rulers had constructed reservoirs with the enactment of technologist Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to forestall flooding of the Musi.
