Ramesh Chennithala says Transport Minister ‘weakening KSRTC to benefit’ private operators in Kerala

Senior Congress person Ramesh Chennithala connected Friday alleged that the Transport Minister was “deliberately weakening” the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to “benefit” backstage autobus operators.

Inaugurating the Kannur territory league of the Transport Workers’ Union, INTUC, astatine the Kannur DCC auditorium, Mr. Chennithala said the Minister’s attack amounted to “abandoning KSRTC to a dilatory death” by failing to acquisition caller buses and by not making indispensable appointments.

He accused the Left Democratic Front (LDF) authorities of dismantling the nationalist assemblage undertaking portion simultaneously stripping employees of their rightful benefits.

Mr. Chennithala alleged that KSRTC employees were being “cheated” by the government’s refusal to assistance adjacent a 1% dearness allowance.
