Harcharan Singh and Lovepreet Singh claimed elite men’s 110kg and +110kg titles respectively connected the concluding time of the National weightlifting championships successful Modinagar connected Saturday (Februeay 14, 2026).
Railways won the squad championships successful men's and women's sections. M. Raja (men) and Mirabai Chanu (women) were chosen the ‘best lifters.’
The results (winners only): Men: 110kg: Elite: Harcharan Singh (RSPB) snatch 161kg, cleanable and jerk 194kg, full 355kg; Junior: Suvansh Thakur (HP) 147kg, 167kg, 314kg; +94kg: Youth: Aditya 138kg, 170kg, 308kg; +110kg: Elite: Lovepreet Singh (SSCB) 172kg, 202kg, 374kg.
