The Special Judge for CBI Cases, Kurnool, Sobha Rani, successful her judgement connected Monday, convicted Challa Sreenivasulu, Accounts Assistant, O/o. Sr. Divisional Finance Manager (Sr. DFM), South Central Railway, Guntakal Division, Guntakal, and sentenced him to acquisition 2 years rigorous imprisonment and to wage a full good of ₹20,000, for demanding and accepting a bribe.
It was alleged that the accused Challa Sreenivasulu, was caught red-handed by the CBI, ACB, Visakhapatnam portion demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 from the complainant/contractor, spouse of M/s. Global Agency, Bangalore, for processing a measure pertaining to the declaration enactment done by him from July, 2017 to September 2017 for an approximate magnitude of ₹30 lakh and besides for antecedently sanctioned bills for the play from March, 2017 to May, 2017 and June, 2017 (two bills).
After completion of the trial, the Court convicted the accused Challa Sreenivasulu, for the offences nether sections U/S s.7 & 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(d) of PC Act, 1988.
