The carcass of a pygmy sperm whale washed ashore connected the ECR seashore successful Chennai connected Thursday morning.

The whale was recovered connected the city’s shoreline by members of the public, who alerted the Forest Department. Later, Forest Department unit reached the spot and confirmed the taxon arsenic a pygmy sperm whale, a tiny and seldom sighted deep-sea cetacean.
