PT teacher gets five-year jail for misbehaving with student on school bus

A carnal grooming teacher from St. Ann’s School has been sentenced to 5 years of rigorous imprisonment by the Fast Track Special Court successful Medchal connected Thursday (December 18, 2025) aft being recovered blameworthy of misbehaving with a Class 8 pupil connected a schoolhouse bus. The tribunal besides slapped a good of ₹3,000 connected the accused.

The accused was identified arsenic 35-year-old Dappulapudi Suresh. The lawsuit dates backmost to August 30, 2016, erstwhile students from St. Ann’s School had travelled to Gachibowli for a sports meet, accompanied by their PT teacher, Suresh. While travelling successful the schoolhouse bus, helium misbehaved with 1 of the students.

Following a complaint, the Petbasheerabad constabulary booked a lawsuit against him nether the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The verdict came aft Special Public Prosecutor G. Prabhakar Reddy presented arguments with supporting evidence.
