The Trans Bill Protest Committee of Tamil Nadu connected Tuesday demanded the contiguous withdrawal of Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill and guarantee the extortion of the law close to self-identification of sex identity.

Addressing mediapersons successful Chennai, the committee said, “The amendment violates the cardinal rights guaranteed nether the Indian Constitution and contradicts the Supreme Court judgement NALSA vs Union of India (2014), arsenic good arsenic internationally recognised healthcare standards.”
