Presidency University, successful collaboration with ICAR and ICAR-IIHR, hosted a 24-hour agriTech hackathon — Chip to Crop — uniting tech and agriculture, connected October 14. 

Dr. Tusar Kanti Behera, Director of ICAR-IIHR, and Dr. Nissar Ahmed, Chancellor of Presidency University, inaugurated the event. 

Jointly organised by the School of Engineering and the School of Computer Science, the lawsuit attracted implicit 100 registrations, with 30 shortlisted teams processing innovative prototypes. 

The last circular featured unrecorded demonstrations by the participating teams and valuation of innovative solutions addressing captious challenges successful the AgriTech domain by IIHR scientists. 

Dr. Behera emphasised the value of tech-driven farming portion Dr. Ahmed highlighted the worth of hands-on learning and probe collaboration. 

The inaugural aimed to foster real-world innovation and fortify industry-academia ties.
