Police foil attempt to ‘burn down’ Manu Smriti in Ongole

Police intervened and prevented the members of Kula Nirmoolana Porata Samithi (KNPS), who reportedly attempted to pain down a transcript of ‘Manu Smriti’ successful Ongole, connected Thursday.

Police stepped in, the infinitesimal Organisation for the Protection of Democratic Rights (OPDR) State president Chavali Sudhakar Rao, reportedly attempted to pain down the book. The protestors were shifted into a waiting constabulary conveyance erstwhile they shouted slogans against the constabulary and called for a concerted combat to support the Constitutional rights granted to the Dalits and Bahujans.

KNPS leaders M. George, D. Ankaiah, A. Rambabu, P. Kondalu, MRPS person T. Anand were besides present.
