The Andhra Pradesh constabulary connected Sunday (November 2, 2025) barred devotees from entering the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple present successful Srikakulam district, pursuing the tragic incidental successful which 9 radical were crushed to death during a spiritual gathering determination erstwhile day.

SP said the temple organisers neither sought mandatory permissions nor applied for constabulary extortion earlier conducting the event.

"It is mandatory for temples oregon spiritual institutions to pass constabulary successful beforehand for assemblage management, irrespective of the turnout," helium said.

According to the SP, the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple is simply a backstage constitution and was operating without due approvals. The organisers reportedly failed to comply with information protocols. Meanwhile, constabulary person registered a lawsuit nether applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
