The Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) has expressed restitution implicit the advancement of operation works astatine the Polavaram irrigation project.

A high-level PPA delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Paithankar, visited the task tract connected Wednesday to reappraisal the presumption of the ongoing works.

The PPA squad conducted an extended inspection of assorted components, including the Polavaram Hydroelectric Power Project being executed by the Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL). It besides reviewed the components specified arsenic the spillway, diaphragm wall, Gap-1 and Gap-2, and upstream and downstream cofferdams.

OIfficials informed the PPA squad that works were being executed arsenic per the timelines fixed by the Water Resources Ministry, the Polavaram Project Authority, and the State Government.
