Plea to remove encroachments from Utchimedu tank in Puducherry

Bangaru Vaickal Neeradhara Koottamaippu, a h2o users’ association, has urged the Puducherry authorities to instrumentality contiguous steps to support the Utchimedu vessel successful Bahour, and region encroachments from it.

In a missive addressed to Lt. Governor K. Kailashnathan, president of the relation V. Chandrasekhar said the main proviso transmission of the Utchimedu vessel had been encroached and filled with reddish laterite soil. Though this has been brought to the attraction of officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Bahour Commune Panchayat, nary enactment has been taken yet.
