An unidentified antheral was fatally knocked down by a conveyance adjacent Viraganur junction present connected Saturday.
Police said the man, who was astir 55 years old, was walking connected the roadworthy from Vandiyur toll gross to Viraganur junction, erstwhile helium was deed by a dense vehicle. Subsequently, the conveyance fled from the scene. Bystanders, who witnessed the incident, instantly informed the police, who sent the assemblage to Government Rajaji Hospital for autopsy.
