Palakkad railway division sells scrap for ₹42.37 crore

Palakkad Division of Southern Railway generated a gross of ₹42.37 crore done systematic disposal of scrap, including released rails, condemned sleepers and other obstruction fittings. Divisional Railway Manager Madhukar Roat said the wealth would beryllium utilized to amended railway infrastructure and rider services. Palakkad Division remains dedicated to maximising returns from non-serviceable assets portion ensuring operational ratio and information standards, helium added.
