Three cause peddlers transporting ganja from Odisha to Maharashtra were arrested by Excise officials successful Khammam during an enforcement cognition adjacent Rallavagu successful Anantapur municipality connected Friday. The officials seized 30.5 kilograms of ganja worthy an estimated ₹16 lakh.

Those arrested were identified arsenic Rahul Ashok Anwal, Sanket Balasaheb Lodwal and Harichandra Kishore Lonkar, each residents of Maharashtra. They were handed implicit to Khammam-2 Excise Station unit for further investigation.

In a abstracted operation, the State Task Force (STF) - A squad led by Excise Superintendent Anji Reddy seized 41 bottles of non-duty paid liquor brought from Goa and Delhi via aerial travel. The bottles were confiscated during roadworthy checks and aboriginal handed implicit to the Saroornagar Excise Station personnel. A lawsuit has been registered against those involved.
