Police seized 120 kg banned baccy products and arrested a younker present connected Monday.
During a conveyance cheque conducted connected Railway Feeder Road, the constabulary team, led by Inspector of Sankarankovil Town Police Station, stopped a two-wheeler and checked S. Manikandan, 23, of Maangudi adjacent Rajapalayam. As helium was allegedly recovered to beryllium successful possession of 120 kg banned baccy products worthy ₹60,000, helium was arrested.
During interrogation, Manikandan allegedly told the constabulary that helium had purchased the baccy products from different idiosyncratic from Thalavaipuram. Further investigations are on.
