Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla connected Saturday (February 6, 2026) unveiled the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) astatine the Bihar Assembly, aimed astatine creating paperless legislative processes.

The function, held astatine the Central Hall of the State legislature, was attended by Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh, and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, among others. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, however, remained conspicuous by his absence.

State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said, "The CM was expected to be the function, but due to the fact that of his already scheduled engagements, helium did not be it with support of the Assembly Speaker."
