BJP elder person Gudur Narayana Reddy has demanded contiguous outgo of pending compensation, alleviation and rehabilitation (R&R) benefits to families displaced by the Nrusimha Sagar Reservoir, stating that the task has remained unused contempt being completed successful 2023 owed to unresolved compensation issues.
The Nrusimha Sagar Reservoir, earlier known arsenic Basavapur Reservoir, was constructed successful Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri territory nether the Kaleshwaram task with a retention capableness of astir 11.39 TMC. Though the task was completed 3 years ago, it has been lying vacant without catering to the needs of downstream areas, Mr. Reddy said.
