Northern Army commander reviews anti-infiltration grid in Kashmir

Northern Army commandant Lt. Gen Pratik Sharma connected Friday (February 20, 2026) reviewed the anti-infiltration grid successful Kashmir and assessed the operational preparedness of the forces on the Line of Control (LoC).

"Lt. Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, visited #NorthKashmir to reappraisal the anti-infiltration grid and measure operational preparedness on the #LoC," the Army's Northern Command said successful a station connected X.

It said that during his visit, the Army commandant interacted with the troops, commending them for their battle-hardened resilience, indomitable courageousness and unwavering committedness to duty.

"He exhorted each ranks to relentlessly refine their nonrecreational acumen and harness emerging technologies, ensuring they stay formidable successful enactment and mission-ready successful defence of the nation," the Northern Command said.
