The Delhi High Court connected Thursday (January 29, 2026) ruled that it has nary territorial jurisdiction to perceive IRS serviceman Sameer Wankhede's defamation lawsuit against "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" bid produced by Shah Rukh Khan-owned Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Refusing to entertain the lawsuit, Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav said Mr. Wankhede could record his plea earlier a tribunal having jurisdiction implicit the issue.

"This tribunal lacks the jurisdiction to entertain the plaint. The aforesaid is, therefore, returned to the plaintiff to beryllium presented, if truthful advised, earlier a tribunal of competent jurisdiction," the tribunal said.

According to Mr. Wankehde, "defamatory content" was created successful the web bid to settee idiosyncratic scores with him and avenge the apprehension of Shah Rukh Khan's lad Aryan Khan successful a 2021 drugs case.
