The National Investigation Agency connected Tuesday (February 3, 2026) carried retired searches astatine the residence of a fishy successful Rainawari country present arsenic portion of a probe into the panic ecosystem successful Kashmir Valley, officials said.

The NIA officers carried retired the raids astatine the residential premises of erstwhile Jamaat-e-Islami person Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh and erstwhile militant Iqbal Sheikh astatine Bomai.

Raids were besides carried retired astatine the residences of erstwhile authorities employees Mohammad Munwar Mir astatine Rafiabad and Farooq Ahmad Peer astatine Model Town successful Sopore.

The different premises included the residence of a retired teacher, Mohammad Maqbool Mir, successful Bandipora town, and the residence of Zahoor-ul-Raheem successful Parimpora, officials said.
