A Delhi tribunal connected Friday (March 27, 2026) extended by 10 days the remand of 7 overseas nationals who are successful the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) implicit suspected links to taste equipped groups successful Myanmar. They were arrested earlier this month. The NIA said they were progressive successful supplying weapons and subject hardware to taste equipped groups operating successful Myanmar, and grooming them. The lawsuit against them was registered nether Section 18 (conspiracy) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, on with applicable provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The tribunal sources said the accused moved a plea connected Friday seeking the assignment of an autarkic translator to guarantee just proceedings.

According to the NIA, the accused entered India connected tourer visas and travelled to Guwahati earlier proceeding to Mizoram without obtaining the required permits. They are said to person past crossed into Myanmar illegally to bid taste equipped olrganisations.
