GUWAHATI

A squad of researchers has described a caller taxon of bent-toed gecko from Tripura, thereby expanding the herpetofauna of the northeast.

The researchers named the caller species, Cyrtodactylus jayadityai, aft their Assam-based herpetologist mentor Jayaditya Purkayastha.
