A Delhi tribunal connected Monday (June 15, 2026) allowed a plea by the CBI to question 3 accused successful the NEET-UG insubstantial leak lawsuit successful jail, saying they were “prime conspirators” requiring further probe.

Duty justice Surender Mohit Singh was proceeding the agency’s plea to question 3 accused successful judicial custody — Manisha Sanjay Waghmare, Dhanunjay Nivrutti Lokhande and Shubham Madhukar Khairnar.

“It has been revealed that the [three] accused are the premier conspirators who facilitated the leakage and dissemination of NEET-UG 2026 questions successful speech for monetary information earlier the introspection held connected May 3,” the plea stated.

The plea sought the court's support to quiz the accused to get indispensable clarifications successful transportation with the probe.

Mr. Lokhande and Mr. Khairnar were arrested connected May 13, portion Ms. Waghmare was arrested the adjacent day. Later, they were sent to judicial custody.

Sources said the CBI volition interrogate Waghmare connected June 17, Mr. Lokhande the adjacent day, and Mr. Khairnar connected June 19.

Meanwhile, the tribunal extended the judicial custody of accused Yash Yadav, Mangilal Khatik, Vikash Biwal, Dinesh Biwal, Dhananjay Lokhande, Manisha Sanjay Havaldar, Manoj Shirure, Tejas Shah and Shubham Khairnar, who were produced earlier it done videoconferencing.

The CBI has arrested 13 persons successful the case, each of whom are presently successful judicial custody.
