National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) chairperson Kishor Makwana connected Friday (October 3, 2025) visited Karur and met the families affected by the September 27 stampede, successful which 41 radical were killed during histrion and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president Vijay’s nationalist meeting.

Mr. Makwana visited the tract of the incidental and met with 10 families from areas including Emoor Pudur, Uppidamangalam, and Aravakurichi, earlier holding a reappraisal gathering with District Collector M. Thangavel and elder officials astatine the Collectorate.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Makwana said the Commission had sought a implicit study connected the incidental from the territory administration. “Based connected the report, the Commission volition proceed with its investigation.
