The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) connected Monday (May 4, 2026) dismissed the 2 petitions filed by Vedanta Ltd, wherever the mining radical challenged the enactment of Adani Enterprises' bid for debt-ridden Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL).

A two-member seat comprising Chairperson Ashok Bhushan and Member Technical Barun Mitra said: "No grounds person been made retired by the appellant [Vedanta] to interfere with the determination of the adjudicating Authority [NCLT]."

"There is nary merit successful the appeal. Both appeals are dismissed. There shall beryllium nary orders to pass," said NCLAT.
