Leaders of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), the Agricultural Labour Union and the Rythu Sangham person called for a nationwide onslaught connected February 12 against what they described arsenic the Modi government’s anti-worker and anti-farmer policies.

Srinivas criticised the Centre for weakening labour laws by introducing the 4 caller labour codes favouring firm interests.
They demanded withdrawal of the caller codes and continuation of existing laws. Concerns were besides raised implicit changes to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, instauration of the VB G Ram G strategy and the summation of states’ fiscal publication from 10% to 40%, which could contradict cultivation labourers guaranteed employment.
They opposed the Central Seed Act, the Electricity Amendment Bill, escaped commercialized agreements with the U.S. and the E.U. and privatisation of nationalist assemblage undertakings, including the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
