Around 60 officers belonging to the territorial police, including those successful the fertile of Superintendent of Police, underwent a three-day grooming programme, conducted jointly by the Police section and the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
During the grooming programme, the officers were imparted lessons connected transgression probe and ineligible aspects progressive with peculiar accent connected dealing cases registered nether the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The purpose was to heighten the investigative and ineligible skills of the constabulary officers, the constabulary said.
The grooming programme was jointly inaugurated by Shakthi Ganesan, Chief Superintendent of NIA, Chennai and R. Kalaivanan, Senior Superintendent of Police, Law and Order, Puducherry Police. Special lectures were delivered by G. Siddiramulu, Senior Public Prosecutor and Chandru and B. Mohan, Special Public Prosecutors of the NIA. The sessions were coordinated by Investigating Officers and Technical Team of NIA, Chennai.
