Andhra Pradesh Coastal Security (North-Visakhapatnam) Inspector General Gopinath Jatti connected Thursday unfurled the National Flag connected Hope Island disconnected Kakinada seashore arsenic portion of the Republic Day celebrations, 2026 successful Kakinada District.

He announced that Hope Island has been included successful the database of islands identified by the Government of India.
He further noted that connected January 17, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu announced that a satellites launching installation would beryllium acceptable up connected Hope Island.
